Barn

​We haven’t done a lot in the way of refurbishments to the barn, as we prefer to leave it as rustic as possible, so there’s no underfloor heating, floor to ceiling glass windows or overly ornate chandeliers (okay, we admit, there are chandeliers) . The Main Room of the Barn is fully licensed for the solemnisation of Weddings & Civil Ceremonies.

 

It's simply a wonderful large, beamed open space complete with old sofas to get comfy on. We’ve decorated the barn in soft colours and styled with a few pieces of  authentic vintage furniture. The barn has been outfitted for wonderfully special celebrations, yet pays homage to it's history. Whilst the Barn, with it's relaxed living room is the perfect space for the signing of the Wedding License, it is also a lovely place to set up a gift table with a guest book or display a Wedding Cake on one of our Vintage desks. The Main Barn is never too far from a cup of tea in Camp Kitchen or a beer from the Saloon. Upstairs you'll find a lovely mezzanine level and a 'Sluttery', a women's dressing room for powdering your nose, storing over night bags or simply to chatter the night away in.

Other lovely areas are never too far away, with the Terrace just outside the old Barn doors, being the perfect spot for a friends to sit, enjoying each others company, enjoying the handmade around the warmth of our iron firepit.
