The Keeper and the Dell has always had it's heart and roots in bringing together family and friends. Since the days of when the Gamekeeper lived here with his own family, and all the celebrations they would have for work and for play, to our own family & friends joining to celebrate milestones and special holidays. The Keeper and the Dell is a privately owned venue, giving personal attention from our family to yours. We love family get togethers and the kind we most adore are weddings. We know just how special these moments are and focus on using all of our knowledge and experience in creating weddings which are perfectly orchestrated to be happily relaxed and fun, surrounded by absolute nearest and dearest.

​​Many couples are choosing a more relaxed, outdoor styled venue for their celebrations, but unless your own family owns a lovely little farm or small country estate, it’s going to be hard to find somewhere that fits that bill which is not only fully licensed for Weddings but also has plenty of experienced Helpers on hand to help you plan, style, co~ordinate and run your Day smoothly from start to finish. Steeped in history, layered with love and set against the backdrop on the ancient woodland, The Keeper and the Dell is the idyllic setting for your own magical day with your own Family and Friends.
We avoid being a typical 'corporate wedding venue' as much as we possibly can, you’re not going to find corporate banqueting halls or ‘luxury packages’. Instead we offer you a beautifully rustic blank canvas where you can create your own wedding, just like you’ve always dreamed, with plenty of help from us along the way.

We are a Fully Approved Venue, licensed for Marriages & Civil Ceremonies. Norfolk Council can perform the legal Ceremony, perfectly combining the 'official bit' with the relaxed styling of the Dell.

You are also welcome to create a ceremony that is unique to you with either a local celebrant, a humanist service or perhaps a close family friend with whom you can choose words & sentiments that truly reflect you as a couple.

Alternatively, you can have your ceremony elsewhere and then come to us for a beautiful reception. There are some beautiful churches in the area and a super registry office at Norwich Castle.
