Historically, The Keeper and the Dell is set within an ancient medieval grove where Marl was originally quarried out from the land hundreds of years ago to be used as fertilisers for local farmers.  The land has over many years naturally formed into a pretty dell.

As the years past, the marl workers 18th century barn was then used as a Game Keeper’s lodge for the surrounding country estate. The Dell, the Barn & the gardens now form the private home of the Streek Family, who  rustically renovated The Keeper and the Dell to offer a beautiful exclusive setting for your own special occasion.

In the past eight seasons of Weddings & Events at The Keeper and the Dell, we have welcomed over 6000 guests, making their time with us as perfectly organised and relaxed as can possibly be. From first viewing, through all site visits to on the day coordinating, we help with each step of organising a wedding.  We individually write each Wedding Plan, making sure each and every wedding runs smoothly & beautifully, given each the personal touch as though it were our own family.
